In 2000, Hybrid traversed the length and breadth of America as guests of Moby on his tour. He then asked Hybrid to perform at his final London date of the year - Wembley Arena. This marked Hybrid's and Moby's largest indoor performance.

Moby handpicked Hybrid to support him on his tour - he was so impressed with the way they remixed ‘Bodyrock’ for him, that he made a special attempt to watch them at Homelands in May 2000. They must have done something right, because the next thing they knew, the man himself phoned! Mike and Chris from Hybrid were slightly happy about it: "It’s come as a complete and utter shock. We’re chuffed as budgies!"

Quote from hiponline.com review of the Moby / Hybrid performance at Rochester (USA):

"Hybrid, caught many people off guard with their sci-fi beats and soothing rhythms throughout their captivating forty-five minute set. These two acts offered the audience a glimpse into the post rock movement by showing them the future of music to come. Mike Truman, Chris Healings, and Lee Mullins of Hybrid have traveled the globe to dazzle audiences for years. Today they find themselves in North America, making waves by landing an opening spot on Moby's never-ending tour. By the reaction of the crowd, I would have to say Hybrid won the hearts of some new fans and sold some t-shirts as well. Hybrid's performance left me dumbfounded until the next day when I could get over the control and energy they blasted at the audience. What truly amazed me about these guys is their ability to control the audience by creating atmospheric soundscapes with non-stop guided tempos all being supported by Truman and Healings' synthesizers and samplers. With a big black Hybrid sign hanging over their head, the trio pumped out a good portion of new material from Wide Angle, just released this fall. Highlights of their set included the dynamic waves of 'Kill City', the futuristic sounds of 'Altitude', and the symphonic close of 'Finished Symphony'. They left the stage to a big round of screams and claps."
